On April 5, 2011, residents of the Eau Claire Area School District approved a facilities referendum which addressed increasing elementary enrollments in selected areas of the school district that are causing overcrowding as well as addressed aging facilities needs that cannot be fully met by the general budget The district greatly appreciates the support of the community to address these needs. DeLong Middle School is undergoing major renovations beginning in April of 2012 thanks to the passing of this facilities referendum.
