North High School is one of two public high schools in the Eau Claire Area School District, the other being Eau Claire Memorial High School. 

North was established in 1962 and currently is home to approximately 1400 students, grades nine through twelve and approximately 170 staff members including teachers, support staff, custodians, and food service personnel.  North also houses five a.m. and p.m. classes of the district's Early Learning Program consisting of three and four year olds.  

Thirteen academic departments plus administrative, technology, Student Services. buildings/grounds, and food service departments form the basic structure of our school community.  In addition, North offers its students vibrant opportunities through both athletics and other extra-curricular activities.
