Academic Recognition: Congratulations to the NHS Boys' Basketball team which was recently recognized with a bronze medal from the W.I.A.A. for having the 3rd highest team GPA (grade point average) of all Wisconsin Division 1 boys' basketball teams. Way to show that Husky Pride gentlemen!
Sports Physicals: As was communicated in the Spring issue of the North High Newsletter, sports physicals will be available for North High School athletes on Wednesday, May 15 from 5:30-6:30 pm at Chippewa Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (4212 Southtowne Dr Eau Claire WI) For more information including cost and what to bring, please click here.
Fall Sports Meetings: There will be a meeting for all NHS athletes wanting to participate in Fall 2013 sports on May 22, 2013 in the North High Auditorium The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm. Individual sports meetings will immediately follow the 6:00 pm meeting. All Fall athletes must attend both meetings.

Art Student Wins Award: Mackenzee Pierog, a senior art student at North High School, placed third in the nationwide “2013 Saul Bell Design Award Competition” in the Emerging Artist category with her pendant entitled, "Remembrance of Childhood." This is the first time any student from the Eau Claire Area School District has placed in this event. Congratulations!
Skateboard Storage: Students are reminded that skateboards/longboards are to be stored in lockers during the school day. Skateboards/longboards are not to be used in the building or on campus. Students are welcome to talk with NHS administration if they have any questions.
Revised School Year Calendar: Due to the four 'inclement weather' school closures, the ECASD school year calendar has been revised and can be viewed here. Commencement dates have not changed. Final exam schedules are available here.
