Information about Cheer & Stunt Winter Team

• Be part of the Cheer & Stunt team at Memorial.
• Learn to tumble and stunt or improve tricks and skills.
• Perform at basketball games (pregame and game performances).
• Compete at various winter competitions.
• Practice at Exceptional Athletics and UWEC with trained professionals and spotters.
• Attend Winter Code Signing.
• Summer Open Gyms: Wednesday mornings  9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Exceptional Athletics.

Interested in trying out for Memorial Winter Cheer & Stunt?

• Athletes must attend the fall/winter code signing in order to tryout.
• Fall and winter are seperate seasons; there is a tryout each season.
• Summer open gym (Tuesday mornings 7-9 a.m. at Exceptional Athletics starting June 12th) is available for anyone interested in learning skills (tumbling, stunting, cheer, dance).
• More information about open gym is on the newsletter page.
• Attendance at summer open gym does not guarantee the athlete a position on the JV/Varsity fall or winter teams.

Congratulations 2012-2013 Cheer and Stunt Team! Memorial High School Cheer and Stunt team will compete at the State High School Cheer Championship! The team first competed at the Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches Northern Regional Competition at Wisconsin Rapids on February 16. All teams must qualify at regional to compete at the WACPC State High School Cheer Championships. The team earned an outstanding 3rd place finish in both Large Cheer-Dance and Small Co-ed categories, allowing them to advance to the State Cheer Championships. Small groups also qualified including all girl stunt team: Rosie Schuda, Brehean Lynch, Shianne Stacey, Meghan McReynolds as well as co-ed stunt team: Jayson Green, Seth Knudson, Savannah Hermann.
