Meadowview Elementary School Staff Appreciation Luncheon
To Meadowview Parents:
As we all know, the staff at Meadowview do so much for our children each and every day. I am planning a staff appreciation
luncheon on December 16th to show our gratitude. Please contact me if you would like to help out with food or supplies that day.
My email is: email@example.com
We just received a $250 check from RCU for the deposits our students make every Wednesday during the School $ense program. Thank you to everyone who participates. The school receives .50? for every deposit. We use this money for various things such as special assemblies, Literacy Night, classroom needs, Veterans Day Program, volunteer appreciation, and study club.
Awesome Algebra is returning to Meadowview!
Awesome Algebra is back again this year! Does your child love math or does it seem easy? Then hop on board for an Awesome Algebra experience.
Awesome Algebra is designed to provide an algebra experience for 4th and 5th grade students who have a high interest and enjoy being challenged in math. Students will represent and analyze mathematical situations using algebraic symbols in order to understand the basic notion of equality and equivalent expressions. They will learn how variables are used to represent change in quantities and also to represent a specific unknown in an equation. Students will be required to work independently and in small and large group situations.
Meadowview will host Awesome Algebra on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning January 13th and ending March 13th. Classes run from 3:30-4:30pm.
For more information contact Melissa Greer at firstname.lastname@example.org or register by returning the flyer sent home with fourth and fifth grade students. Space is limited, so register soon!
