Nyob zoo and hello! My name is Pang Xiong and I have been teaching kindergarten here at Lakeshore since 2009-2010. I was born and raised in Eau Claire but ventured off to Madison to attend college. I graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in elementary education. Go Badgers!! I was also fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study abroad at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. I have always dreamed of going to Australia and it was everything I dreamed of and more. Having been in Australia has really inspired me to travel more. Thus, I’ve created a long list of must-sees!
I moved back to Eau Claire to be closer to family. I come from a huge family and love the craziness and headaches we all get when we’re together. I’m not sure how my parents managed to keep their sanity with 7 daughters and a son. However, I’m used to chaos, noise, arguments—all of which may occasionally also take place in kindergarten.
Kindergarten has taken me through a whirlwind but I’m learning a lot and enjoying it.
We celebrated the 100th day of kindergarten!
We examined (oversized) Hmong clothes in preparation for the Hmong New Year.
Kindergartners rocked the school for the All-School Program.
Thanks to all the families for doing a fantastic job dressing your kindergartners up for the 50's!!
