My name is Melissa Gumness, formerly Melissa Bushendorf. I was married this past summer in Irvine Park to my wonderful husband Chuck Gumness who is also an ECASD employee.

I had a very busy summer planning our wedding, writing my thesis in order to complete my Master's in Education (which I did with a 4.0) as well as spending the entire summer living in our camper up at O'Neil Creek Campground in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Chuck and I have our precious little angel Daisy, who is a Yorkie and weighs about 4 1/2 lbs. No children right now only Daisy! And our 2 cats; Simba and Xena.

We spend as much time as possible at our camper, relaxing and being outdoors!! We also have a Harley and spend a great deal of time riding with our friends. Our family and friends are a huge part of our lives and we spend a lot of time enjoying eachother's company!

I have recently become totally addicted to Zumba and can't imagine not working out to it daily! In fact, I'm hoping to start a Zumba club at Memorial. Watch for further details as the year gets started.

I can't wait for school to start so I can get to know more of you this year. Don't be afraid to stop in and say "Hi" anytime!
